A Look Inside

i dont have a specific style that anyone can possibly imitate, so if you try to copy my sound then you'll always be arriving late. constantly evolving, changing like the leaves on trees. my mind captures an image photographing what my eye sees. then i store it deep inside, releasing the art at another time. maybe in a story that i tell you or while im flowing a new rhyme. never force myself to change with a current trend or scene, but don't resist new ideas either so i create my own theme. the flow you hear develops naturally & is released on any time or date. bringing a sound that illuminates current culture with a spark that you cannot replicate. opening up my mind letting it all soak inside, what else can i do but simply enjoy the ride.........  our ideas  fuel the world we live in.  Our thoughts, Our Words, Our actions feed the ears & the eyes that occupy our surroundings. The energy that is born spreads from person to person, place to place, inspiring a brand new mood. It fills everyone around creating the environment we end up living in. Our Dreams keep us rockin, any poison that created drama melts away because we're immune. this is living. anything that may have prevented this feeling from spreading @1 point is gone.

Treehouse

I glanced over and saw an old house that looked as if it hadn't been occupied for several years. Something came over me at that moment which made me feel as if i knew exactly what  took place there. I saw a rope swing in the back yard & an old treehouse. I could hear the children inventing new games to play. Their imagination running wild as they created new ideas of how they were going to use the tree house. The rope swing was also a part of their new adventure and their excitement continuously escalated as the afternoon moved on. They invented their own world where anything was possible & their minds were full of life. Nothing deterred them from their mission because the only thing that existed was that moment.  They slowly drifted apart as they grew older becoming caught up in the fast paced world..  Slowly forgetting about the days when they played in the treehouse but every once in awhile the memories would return...

One day, two of them reunited.  Although they felt like distant strangers initially, their spirits reminded them of who they were.  They decided to take a ride around the old town they lived in as children...  They explored  areas outside of the zone they were familiar with as children. As they came to the end of the street, the boy noticed that the road was a dead end...  That was until they got out of their car & soon discovered a narrow path between two trees that lead to the woods. After walking a short distance they realized that their adventure had just begun. This place was filled with endless paths surrounding a stream that sang such a soothing tone. the streets that that they had been traveling on all day were crowded with people running from place to place, searching... nobody was here though. Nobody was in this beautiful place but them. Alas, they find a Castle that was once an ordinary tree just like the two at the end of the road..   "I've never heard of this place," the boy said. The girl replied, "That's because most people turn around once they see the dead end sign"

The sky is blue... the sky is blue... the sky is an array of colors

Here is my perspective on conversation related to stereotypes. We already know what they are. We've heard them over and over again. So, what is the point of talking about what we already know constantly. It really doesn't accomplish anything, nor is it entertaining so why do people do it? Take a walk with me through the City of Life and lets explore. I get out of my car & begin walking down the street. I pass by a coffee shop where people are having a conversation about how Most Women think a certain way about a particular issue vs how most men think about an issue. So, i walk across the street and overhear another conversation. This one is about how most people in their 20's are interested in certain activities & when they reach their 40's they'll end up losing interest in those activities because they will change as they age. I pass them by and walk a few blocks further & grab a bite to eat. At this restaurant I stumble upon another group of people. They talk about the differences between the majority of newleywed couples & how their mentallities differ from a couple who has been married for 30 years. I finally make my way to the park where I sit down so I can enjoy my lunch. A group of people sitting near me are having a discussion as well. Their topic is sports & how the majority of athletes in that particular sport begin to lose their edge at age 35. All day as I travel through the city I hear the same song and dance that I've heard a million times before. So I turn to the group & I bring up the fact that there are exceptions. They look at me, laugh a little bit & say; "yeah, but those exceptions are very rare so why bother talking about them" I respond, well "why bother talking about what we already know over and over again" It's like if I said, "the sky is blue" and then 10 minutes later i repeated myself and said "the sky is blue" and i kept saying it over and over again. Eventually someone would tell me to shut the f**k up. We already know the sky is blue so why the f**k do you keep saying it..... Would that make any sense? think about it. Plus, sometimes the sky is grey, other times it's black, sometimes it's a combination of many colors... talk about that instead because at least its more interesting.

I just don't get it. Do you?

I cannot understand the whole paparazzi scene one bit because the whole thing still seems to confuse me a great deal. Where should I begin. Well for starters there have been a few situations in which ive seen paparazzis film that should be illegal. I have spoken to people who have said that it is perfectly legal to shoot pictures of celebrities at any time and any place. So, what I will do is give you a hypothetical scenario & you be the judge. Lets say I decide to go out to downtown Hartford on a Saturday night for example. For all those who are familiar, please for a moment, try and picture this situation. . Obviously the story I’m about to tell is fictional & I would never do the following but just imagine If I did……. Let’s say I am in downtown Hartford with my camera on a very busy Saturday evening. As people begin exiting the bars & clubs I pick a couple women out of the crowd and begin to follow them as they are walking down the street. Are you imagining this situation? Okay, so I’ll proceed… Now, lets pretend as they’re walking , I start snapping photos of them & begin to get closer so that I am right in front of their face. As they walk, I am in front of them walking backwards snapping away with my camera. they start to become agitated and tell me to leave them alone. Instead of listening I continue to follow them and snap pictures. Now a few blocks away next to a club called “on the rocks”, there are also quite a few police cars with police officers standing in front of their vehicles patrolling the area as they normally do. I ignore them, similar to what a paparazzi in LA does and I continue to follow the women closely constantly snapping pictures in their face. Now, they begin to shout at me and tell me to get the f**k out of their face but I continue snapping photos. As we approach the intersection where all the police officers are stationed, I continue on my mission to photograph the two women. Now picture those police officers just standing there doing nothing about the situation. Picture those officers telling the two women who are complaining about me that there is nothing they can do about it. Then picture the two women walking past those officers and me continuing to photograph them as they walk to their car. For those who know the area and have read this, ask yourself. Would I have gotten away with something like that? Again, I would never do such a thing but im just trying to paint a picture here. Just the thought of something like this being allowed is completely ridiculous….. So, if this situation that I described is so ridiculous then why is it that the paparazzis in Los Angeles get away with shit like this all the time & it is viewed as normal behavior? Is society suggesting that this type of action is acceptable as long as the individual being harassed is a celebrity? Is it okay in certain locations but not in other locations? Why aren’t more of these situations questioned? I just don't get it. Do you?

Once upon a time, in a land far far away.........

Once upon a Time, There was a couple who felt confused; a little upset, and really down on life.  So each of them went off & spent time with their friends.
Their friends gave them  all the advice in the world about what they should do.
They tried  making them better by listing their qualities while some of them  just listened without responding much at all.    Anyway, after all that they still were like... blaaahhhh...

At then end of the day they meet up,  A child approaches; must have been around 3 or 4 years old, the cutest little thing.  so the child Walks up to the couple,  makes a joke, smiles and asks them 2 play.

That child  made their day....

a Minaj a Monster

the other day while listening to the new kanye west cd, the song "Monster" came on... as im listening, all of a sudden i hear the illest verse. i thought "who is this? she can rock the mic and has a voice that just grabbed my attention" later that night while channel surfing i stumble upon a show titled "MYTIME" the title attracted me so i watched. It was a story about Nicki Minaj. the way Nicki opened up and told the world her story was amazing.. luv2thareal.. so i made a video with clips from Maggie Q, and the song "Monster".

hit em up (my version)

A woman by the name of Katie Nicholl recently included information about Lily Allen in one of her gossip columns. Lily Allen is a very talented musician who is loved by many. She is a strong woman who has dealt with adversity that i cannot even fathom. For those who don't know, take some time to research this information on your own & you'll realize the amount of courage she possesses. Now, Katie Nicholl has made a name for herself using the power of Gossip. The problem with that is she is helping fuel this industry. An industry filled with maggots. Maggots that feed off of other peoples life in order to fulfill their own worthless empty existences. She is no writer. There is better journalism that exists in a 5th grade school teacher's desk drawer. If she had a real career, and also one of those things called a conscience she would do something worthwhile. she would research the information so that she could use the power she has to set the record straight about bogus stories that are spreading around. Instead, she takes the cowardly route & just goes along with whatever gossip exists, adds some more gasoline to the fire so it spreads to more ears, and to more eyes. That isn't a talent. That is a middle school girl that never grew up and took the life of a gossip queen to the next level, claiming it to be a career. Katie Nicholl is just another maggot. She may be a large maggot but is that something to be proud of? think about it.
